MK4- menaquinone 4 - Menatetrenone, also known as—menaquinone-4—(MK-4), is one of the nine forms of vitamin k2. Menaquinone-4 is a vitamin K2 compound with a shorter isoprenoid side chain compared to MK-7. MK-4 typically has four isoprene units in its side chain. Commonly found in leafy green vegetables. MK-4 is found in animal-based foods, particularly animal livers, meat, and dairy products.

Menaquinone-7 is a type of vitamin K2, and its chemical structure is characterized by a long isoprenoid side chain with seven isoprene units.
